SCOTS BOYS FOR McGREGOR TROPHY
ENGLISH UNDER-16 STROKE-PLAY
Exciting young prospect Michael Stewart is among a group of Scottish golfers off to Sussex this week to compete in the McGregor Trophy tournament at Worthing Golf Club from Wednesday to Friday.
The 16-year-old from Troon Welbeck has impressed this year, winning two Junior Tour events to secure a place in the top three of the Scottish Junior Golf Ranking table.

No Scottish player has won the championship in its 21-year history. Past winners of the event include Justin Rose (1995) and Graeme Storm (1994).
The tournament, which will be played this year at Worthing Golf Club, is a stroke play event. A field of 132 will play 72 holes over three days, with 18 holes being playing on each of the first two days. The leading 45 competitors and those tying for 45th place, will play a further two rounds to determine the champion.
