Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club 11 to 14 July

Aberdeen's David Law fine tuning his swing today at the Renaissance Club near North Berwick. Scotland is very well represented in a multi-national field.  David is joined amongst others by Grant Forrest, Scott Henry, Renaissance representatives Chris Doak and Richie Ramsay, Stephen Gallacher, Paul Lawrie, Scott Jamieson and Fraserburgh qualifier Kris Nicol.

Glencruitten's Robert MacIntyre has earned himself a star-studded opening round alongside Rory McIlroy and Rickie Fowler.

Marc Warren, Russell Knox, David Drysdale, Liam Johnston and Gleneagles Hotel's Calum Hill complete a very strong field of Scotland's representatives.

Weather forecasts suggest that Mother Nature will have a significant part to play in proceedings but the event has all the makings of an exciting four days.  Several Scottish Open winners in the past have gone on to capture the Claret Jug in the following week so could history be repeated?
