Host of new faces in England squads

A host of new faces have played their way into the two England men’s squads for 2019.
Spanish amateur champion Billy McKenzie and Tom Plumb, who was recently third in the South American amateur championship, have shot straight into the men’s squad.
They are joined by three players promoted from the A squad: Bailey Gill, Ben Jones, a semi-finalist in the recent New South Wales amateur championship, and Tom Sloman.
Jake Burnage and David Hague, both internationals and established squad members, complete the line-up.
The A squad is completely new. Its seven members are: Jake Bolton, who was third in the Italian amateur championship; Sam Done, who consistently features on the national amateur circuit; former boy internationals Callum Farr and Harry Goddard; Ben Hutchinson, who reached the last 16 in the Amateur Championship; David Langley, runner-up in the Hampshire Salver and Tillman Trophy, and Joe Long, runner-up in the English amateur.
