ROBB HAS NINE-BIRDIE 63 TO SHARE LEAD AT TOUR SCHOOL
 
Banchory's Chris Robb (Meldrum House) is sharing the lead on eight-under-par 63 with Germany's Christian Braeunig after the first round of the European Tour Qualifying School 2nd Qualifying Stage at Las Colinas Country Club, Alicante in Spain.
Robb had nine birdies and one bogey in halves of 30-33.
Duncan Stewart from Grantown on Spey in sharing 45th place on 71, which included a double bogey 7 at the third in halves of 34-37.
The third Scot in the field, Ross Kellett had a 74 for a share of 65th place in a field of 71 competitors.
In the same tournament at Desert Springs, Scott Henry is joint third with a 67, tw behind leader Deyen Lawson (Australia)/
Perth's Danny Young had a 72 for a T40 overnight position while Craig Howie (Peebles) is T46 after a 73.
