In the 68 previous LPGA seasons, only once had a woman joined her sister in the tour’s winner’s circle. This year it has happened twice. With a masterful bogey-free 68, Nelly Korda won the Swinging Skirts LPGA Taiwan Championship Presented by CTBC by two strokes Sunday, holding off a determined challenge by Minjee Lee to pick off the win she thought she had in Singapore earlier this year only to be nipped at the finish line by Michelle Wie.

Sunday in Chinese Taipei, second-year member Nelly Korda picked up her first career victory on the LPGA Tour at the Swinging Skirts LPGA Taiwan. Korda, who held a share of the 54-hole lead with Wei-Ling Hsu, fired a bogey-free 68, which included two birdies and an eagle, to win by two strokes for her maiden victory on Tour.
Spilkova Leads, Reid Ready For Fresh Start After Week 1 of Q-Series
Midway through the inaugural LPGA Q-Series presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, it is Czech Republic player Klara Spilková (-13) on top of the 102-player field with a commanding lead after 72 holes in the eight-round event.
