Douglas Maxwell Memorial Championship 2018

The above championship was played over the Kirkcudbrightshire course on Sunday.  The weather was atrocious with strong gusting winds and constant rain throughout which made it a tough test of golf over the 36 holes. 
However the conditions didn't worry the winner,  David Brodie (NS) who carded a superb 18 hole score of 64. 
His card read:

The 18-hole morning handicap competition was won by C McMillan 71-5-66 with runner up N Watson 70-3-67
 
The Douglas Maxwell Memorial was a qualifying competition for the Kirkcudbrighshire Order of Merit and after the penultimate championship with only the Shamash now to be played on September 23,the leading scores are:
I. Rae (Kbt)  20 pts
W. Watson (Kbt) 19 pts
D. Borland (S) 15 pts
R. Murray (S) 15 pts
C. Riddick (S) 11 pts
C. Smith (Dal) 10 pts
G. McMillan (GH) 10 pts
J. Picken (Kbt) 9 pts
