Connie and Laura miss the cut at WPGA Challenge but Michele, Heather survive

Past Scottish women's amateur champion Connie Jaffrey (Troon Ladies) and Alford's Laura Murray (Kippie Lodge) failed to survive the cut after two rounds of the WPGA Challenge at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club, Suffolk today.
Jaffrey shot 74-77 for 151 - two shots too many, while Murray scored 79-76 for 155, six shots over the limit mark.
Two Scots who did well were Michele Thomson (Meldrum House) and Heather MacRae from Dunblane. Michele is T14 on 145 (72-73) while Heather is T23 on 146 (71-57).
Belgium's Manon De Roey leads with 68-67 for nine-under-par 135, one stroke ahead of Wales' Lydia Hall (71-65) and by two from overnight leader Felicity Johnston (67-70)
