SCOTS WOMEN WIN, THE REST LOSE

Only the women's team of the four Scotland squads in action today (Fri) in the European golf team championships at various venues across the Continent were winners. They beat Austria 4-1 in Flight B tie at Murhof, Austria.

The Scotland men, who qualified for a championship flight, lost again, this time 3.5-1.5 to France.

Scotland's girls team lost 3-2 to Switzerland in Sweden while the Scotland boys lost 3.5-1.5 in the Czech Republic.
