Mickelson misses the cut at Gullane; Record 62 by Scot Syme

Phil Mickelson will be heading to Carnoustie early.

It's the first time he's missed a Scottish Open cut since 2010.

Connor Syme's 62 earlier today is not only a course record - it breaks Stephen Gallacher's record for the lowest round by a Scot in a Scottish Open. It was Syme's  23rd birthday on Wednesday - quite the way to celebrate.
