ARNOLD PALMER CUP DAY 2 AT Evian-les-Bains

International side cut USA lead to 1pt in mixed foursomes

Évian-les-Bains, France – The United States holds a 12.5-11.5 lead following the Saturday morning mixed foursomes matches on Day 2 of the 2018 Arnold Palmer Cup at Evian Resort Golf Club. 
The International side entered the round trailing by four points but claimed 7.5 of the morning’s 12 points.
South Africa’s Jovan Rebula and Switzerland’s Albane Valenzuela claimed the day’s first point with a 4 and 2 victory. The two sides halved the next two matches. Team USA then claim three of the next four matches to push its lead to 12-7.
The Irish duo of Ronan Mullarney and Chloe Ryan spearheaded the International comeback with birdies on Nos. 17 and 18 to win by one hole.
England’s Harry Hall and Wenyung Keh of New Zealand posted a 3 and 1 result along with a pair of International 2-hole wins to cut the lead to one point.
The United States pairing of S M Lee and Kaitlyn Papp rallied from 3-down through 11 to halve their match against Jaravee Boonchant of Thailand and Sweden’s Fredrik Nilehn to preserve the Americans' overall lead lead.
Afternoon four-ball matches tee off at 1:30 pm local time on tees No. 1 and 10.
