Chris Robb pipped by Frenchmen's late birdies in Pro Golf Tour event

Banchory's Chris Robb (Meldrum House) finished second in the Pro Golf Tour's Extec Trophy 54-hole tournament at Ypsilon Golf Resort, Liberec in the Czech Republic today after leading with three holes to play.

Robb had scores of 69, 66 and 70 for an 11-under-par total of 205, one more than France's Richard Jouven who won the 5,000 euros (£4,410) first prize with birdies at the 16th and 17th in the final round for a 12-under total of 204 (69-68-67).
Robb earned 3,000 euros (£2,646). 
Craig Howie from Peebles was the next best Scot in joint 10th place with scores  of 72, 70 and 69 for 211.
