Gavin Hay and Craig Ross share honours at snowy Dunbar

By JOHN HENRY
Dunbar head greenkeeper Paul Armour and his team worked hard to clear the course of snow, a monumental effort considering on Sunday evening the event looked to be in jeopardy of going ahead. Once play in the Big Johnson's Tour got under way, the players found the course to be in magnificent condition, especially the greens which are some of the best surfaces the Tour has played on this winter.
Sixteen  players took part, including Challenge Tour player Jack McDonald, former European Tour Order of Merit winner Ronan Rafferty, and current winter series leader John Henry.

First place today was shared by Gavin Hay (Grantown on Spey) and Cambuslang's Craig Ross who both had excellent four-under 67s, one stroke ahead of Paul O'Hara (North Lanarkshire Leisure).
