RAMSAY AND CLARKE WIN SPGA BETTER-BALL AT NAIRN WITH A SIX-UNDER 65

North and North-east golf professionals did well in today's (Monday) Scottish PGA four-ball competition at Nairn Golf Club.
Derek Ramsay (Moray) and Rodger Clarke (Golf Dedication Centre, Lossiemouth) won the £400 first prize with a better-ball score if six-under-par 65.
They won by one stroke from two pairs, Fraser Cromarty and Sean Burgess (both Nairn) and Alan Tait (Deer Park) and Murray Urquhart (Nairn). Each pair earned £230.
The prize list was completed by two pairs on 67 - Ross Black and David Grindell (both Inverness), and Ross McConnachie (Peterculter) and Ben Munro (Elgin). Each pair earned £50.
Sixteen pairs took part.
