WALKER AND FYFE TOP SCOTS IN 

LEADING 10 IN SOUTH AFRICA

Euan Walker (Kilmarnock Barassie) and Cawder's Calum Fyfe are sharing ninth place on 10-under-par 134 at the halfway stage of the South African men's amateur stroke-play golf championship at Pecanwood Golf and Country Club.
Walker has had rounds of 70 and 64, Fyfe a pair of 67s.
Scottish champion Sam Locke (Stonehaven) is joint 14th on 137 after rounds of 69 and 68. He has had one bogey over the opening 36 holes.
Darren Howie (Peebles) is just outside the top 20 in a share of 21st position with a pair of 69s for 138.
The only other Scot in the field of 140 competitors, John Paterson (St Andrews New) improved from an opening 78 to a 73 for 151 to share 125th place and missed the cut by nine strokes.
Two South Africans, Oliver Gillberg (67-62) and Wilco Nienaber (65-64), share the lead on 15-under-par 129, two ahead of another home player, Matt Saulez (67-64)
