Kyle Godsman wins North Scottish Alliance 

over home Moray Old course

Moray's Kyle Godsman won today's North Scottish Golfers' Alliance  fixture over his home Old course at Lossiemouth with a four-under-par round of 66. It was his second win of the winter season but his first outright victory.

David Joel (Inverness), a winner twice in October, finished runner-up, only a shot behind Godsman (pictured) who birdied the first, ninth, 13th, 15th, 17th and 18th off the yellow tees. He bogeyed the fourth and 14th.
Joel had only one bogey, at the 18th, which cost him a share of the spoils. He birdied the fifth, ninth and 13th.
Jeff Wright (Forres), three times a winner, finished third with a 68.
Davie Walker, who plays off 11 at Inverness, started 9 6 5 and turned in 46, before covering the inward half in a best of the day 32 which included birdies at the 11th, 16th, 17th and 18th.

It rained all day, slightly heavier in the afternoon than it had been in the morning.
