Gunn off target with a 76 in Panama Championship Round 3

Dornoch's Jimmy Gunn duly made the halfway cut in the Web.com Tour's Panama Championship at Panama City with rounds of 69 and 74 for 143 - one shot to spare.

But he did not start his Saturday third round well at all and he failed to halt the slide, ending with a round of 76.
Gunn, pictured, starting at the 10th tee on the third day in temperatures up in the 80s, bogeyed the 10th, 11th, 13th, 17th and 18th with only one birdie, at the 14th, to "repair" the damage. He turned in four-over 39.
The Dornoch man got his second and last birdie of the day at the long fourth but a double bogey 6 at the seventh cut short his celebration and he also bogeyed the ninth for 37 of a second nine.
His 54-hole tally of 219 leaves him 72nd of the 74 qualifiers for the weekend action.
He is 17 strokes behind the leader, American Eric Axley (66-71-65 for 202) who has a two-stroke advantage over second-placed compatriot Edward Loar (67-70-67)
.

Those who missed the halfway cut included England's David Skinns (76-84 for 160) and Spain's Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano (74-71 for 145).
Compatriots Brian Davis (71-73) and Ben Taylor (73-71) did make the cut. Davis had a third-round 67 for T25 on 211. Taylor is T62 on 216 after a 72 today.
