Freshman Gregor Tait takes lead at Palm 
City, Florida

Gregor Tait, from Martlesham Heath near Ipswich, a freshman student at Seton Hall University, New Jersey, has taken over the lead after the second round of the UNCG Martin Downs Collegiate tournament at Martin Downs Golf Club's Ospey Course  (par 72, 6802yd) at Palm City, Florida.
Tait, pictured, has had rounds of 67 and 69 for eight-under 136.
In his second round, the Englishman birdied the second, third, 10th, 12th and 14th, offset by bogeys at the fifth and 18th in halves of 35-34.
He leads by two shots from Max Sear (West Virginia) 70-68 and Bryce Hendrix (UNCG) 71-67
Seton Hall University's other British student golfers, Alex McCauley, a sophomore from Douglas, Isle of Man, and Alex Chalk, a sophomore from Scotland's Castle Douglas, are in T45 and T50 positions respectively.
McCauley has had rounds of 77 and 75 for 151. He rans up a triple bogey 7 at the 15th but birdied the third, sixth and 17th.in
Chalk has scored 77 and 76 for 153. He did not have a single birdie on his second-round card.
UNCG (University of North Carolina-Greensboro) and Seton Hall University share the lead in the team title chase on 568. Elon are in third place on 572 with West Virginia (575) in fourth spot in a field of 10 teams.
