Portlethen cut-price offer to NE Alliance members

David Fleming says that Portlethen Golf Club is offering a round  over a 16-hole course (also on winter greens) for only £8 to any Alliance members just looking to get some golf and fresh air.

Said NE Alliance secretary Michael MacDougall earlier: "We’ve taken decision to cancel today’s nine-hole event at PLGC Ardoe.

After the overnight  frost the course his too solid to play any meaningful golf.

"If anyone does want to come along today to PLGC Ardoe just to get some fresh air and a hit, the short, winter course is open but on winter greens."
