Five Scottish Seniors Golf Society events arranged for March

The 2017/18 Scottish Seniors Golf Society winter events have been badly affected by the weather with only one, Strathmore, of the three planned competitions going ahead before the Festive period.

There are five winter events scheduled for March and hopefully they can go ahead,  giving us six competitions for the Order of Merit.

The handicap limit is 12 and entry information can be found on the SSGS website

The dates and venues are:

Stirling  - March 2

West Kilbride - March 8

Monifieth - March 16

Drumoig - March 23

Prestwick St Cuthbert - March 30

25 pts Rob Craw (Glenbervie)

22 pts Allister Raphael (St Andrews)

15.6 pts Bill Barclay (Downfield), Drew Wilson (St Andrews New), Alex Hogg (Stirling), Murray Ferguson (Stirling), Neish Chisholm (Kemnay)

10.5 pts Norman Dyce (Strathmore), Brian Halbert (Callander), Neil McGarva (Kilmacolm), Wilson Morton (Dunbar).

7pts Roy Farquhar (Carnoustie), Phil Hendry (Alloa), David Taylor (St Andrews New).           

4pts Keith Ross (Beith), Pat McErian (Vale of Leven), Bruce Hunter (Stirling).

0.6pt Jim McArthur (St Andrews New), George Barrie (Callander), Les Smith (Erskine), Gary Cochran (Irvine Ravenspark), Colin Halcrow (Windyhill).
