Three Scots miss cut as Spanish player wins Senior British Women's Open Amateur title by five

Spain's Macarena Campomanes was a runaway winner of the Senior Women's British Open amateur championship at Royal Belfast Golf Club today (Thursday).
She posted rounds of 69, 76 and 73 for a five-over-par total of 218 over the par-71 course.
The Spanish player won by five strokes from Australia;s Sue Wooster (69-76-78 for 223) with defending champion Laura Webb (East Berkshire) third on 224 (76-74-74).
The three Scots in the field did not survive the cut to the leading 25 players and ties after 36 holes.
Royal Dornoch's Alison Bartlett (80-90) and Ashley Rose (89-91) were 10 strokes over the limit mark with their 170 totals.
Dawn Young (North Berwick) missed out with scores of 83 and 90 for 173.
