North-east pair Chris Robb (Meldrum House) and Peterhead's Philip McLean are joint eighth, three off the lead, with one round to go in the Pro Golf Tour's Starnberg Open in Bavaria, Germany.
Robb has had a pair of 67s for eight-under 134, a total matched by McLean with scores of 66 and 68.
German amateur Max Schmitt leads on 131 (67-64).
Sam Kiloh made the cut with two shots to spare after a pair of 69s for 138 and joint 27th place.
But Alexander Culverwell (Dunbar) (73-70 for 143) and Kevin Duncan (Paul Lawrie GC) (73-72) missed out.
