Ian Rae wins play-off for Kirkcudbright boys' stroke-play title
 

The Kirkcudbrightshire boys' stroke-play championship  was held at Kirkcudbright Golf Club in excellent condition on a windy but dry day with very  good scoring being the order of the day.
The winner of the championship was Ian Rae from Dalbeattie with a two-under-par 67, beating Cameron Gray from Kirkcudbright. He also scored a 67 but was beaten in the play-off by a birdie at the second extra hole.
In third place was Angus Bendall (Castle Douglas) with a 68.
The handicap section was won by Ryan Davies (Kirkcudbright) with a 82-20 net 62.
