Forsyth scores fourth win of season in Young


Pros' event, Zeynalov gains highest finish

Alastair Forsyth (Mearns Castle Golf Academy) scored his fourth win on the Tartan Tour this season with a six-under-par 64 to head a big field by four strokes in the Young Pros' OoM Sprint Series at Ranfurly Castle Golf Club today
Forsyth had an eagle 2 at the par-4 fourth and birdies at the first, third, 13th, 15th and 17th in halves of 32 (three under par) and 32 three under par).
Runner-up on 68 was Azerbaijan-born Kamran Zeynalov (Portlethen) whose previous highest finishes were tied 22nd (twice).
Zeynalov also had an eagle, a 3 at the par-5 third and birdies at the 10th, 16th and 17th mixed in with bogeys at the fourth, seventh and 17th in halves of 35 and 33.
Graham Forbes (Mar Hall Hotel) finished third with a par 70.
