Irishman Galbraith leads by one at


 St Andrews Links Trophy

John Ross Galbraith is out to make it back-to-back Irish victories in the St Andrews Links Trophy as he leads the 72-hole event at the halfway stage over the Old Course.
Last year Conor O'Rourke from Naas was the winner.
Galbraith has led through the first two rounds with scores of 66 and 71 for seven-under-par 137, only one shot ahead of a group of six players.
Jamie Stewart (Old Ranfurly), pictured, is keeping the home flag flying. He is one of a bunch of players sharing second place on 138. Stewart as had rounds of 67 and 71.
