Only two Scots likely to beat cut Morocco
By COLIN FARQUHARSON
The Pro Golf Tour's Ocean Open is running behind schedule at Golf de l'Ocean, Agadir, Morocco because of bad weather but it is almost certain that four of the Scots in the field will miss the cut when the second round is completed late in the day.
The cut will be to the top 40 players and ties, amateurs not included. At one stage it looked a possibility that all six Scot would fail to qualify for the final day but Alexander Culverwell (145) and Philip McLean (146) now look safe in T29 and T38 positions respectively.
