Fraser Davren's joint runner-up finish in Alabama

Fraser Davren from Glasgow, a freshman student at Eastern Florida State College, achieved his highest finish so far on the United States men's college golf circuit with a joint second placing in the CACC-WPCC Intercollegiate tournament over 36 holes at Alexander City, Alabama.
Davren led by two strokes after a first-round, two-under-par 70 over the 7,272yd course but a 74 for 144 cost him victory which went to Garrett Reist (Calhoun College) with 72-71 for one-under 143.
Brad Bawden from Hockley, also a student at Eastern Florida State College, finished tied 10th on 154 with rounds of 78 and 76.
Eastern Florida State (602) were pipped for the team title by Central Alabama College (599) with Wallace State College (604) placed third in a field of nine teams.
