David Law heads seven Scots qualifiers at Final European Q School

Seven Scots, headed by David Law, who won the Stage 2 event at Lumine, Tarragona, will play in the European Tour Final Qualifying School at PGA Catalunya, Spain over six rounds from November 12 to 17.
The other Scots are Ross Kellett,  Grant Forrest, Scott Henry, Craig Lee, Bradley Neil, Peter Whiteford.
Aberdonian Law, attached to the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre, played a canny final round of two birdies, one bogey and 15 pars for a 70 and a 12-under-par total of 272 to head the field at Lumine, Tarragona.
Team-mate Ross Kellett was close behind him at this venue, scoring 66, 69, 69 and 70 for 10-under 274 an a share of third place.
There was a play-off for the last four places of the 18 available at Lumine, involving the eight players on six-under 278.
The non-qualifiers included Sam Kiloh (Paul Lawrie GC), who had his best round of 70 for 284; Perth's Danny Young, who also left his best until last, had a 69 for 285.
Jamie Savage (Cawder) withdrew after three rounds.
The other three Scottish qualifiers were all playing at Las Colinas, Alicante where there were 18 spots up for grabs.
Past Walker Cup player and former Scottish amateur champion Grant Forrest (Craigielaw) finished well under pressire with six birdies, four of them after the turn, in returning a four-under 67 for 276 and fifth place at this venue.
Blairgowrie's Bradley Neil needed a very good score to qualifyg and he produced the goods with a 66 (one eagle, five birdies and two bogeys) for an aggregate of 279 and a share of ninth place.
Peter Whiteford also raised his game under pressure, birdieing the 14th, 15th, 16th and 18th for a 67 and tied 13th place on 280.
There was a play-off between five players on 282 for the last two places.
Non-qualifiers at Las Colinas included Paul Ferrier (72 for 288) and Daniel Kay (Dunbar), 74 FOR 293.
Scott Drummond withdrew before the final round.
No Scots advanced from the eliminators at Panoramica, Castellon and El Saler, Valencia.
Jack Doherty (72 for 286) and Chris Doak (82 for 294) could not make the play-off on eight-under 280 for the last four of 18 places available at Panoramica.
Ewen Ferguson from Bearsden was two shots away from the qualifying mark of four-under 284 at El Saler.
He shot a 69 for 286 and a share of 24th place.
Wallace Booth (Comrie) signed off with a 74 for 287, amateur Liam Johnson a 76 for 294, Chris Robb (Meldrum House) a 72 for 295 and Troon's Jack McDonald had a 68 for 296.
