Alastair Forsyth's 67 gives him a two-stroke 

lead at halfway in Carnegie Invitational

Alastair Forsyth (Mearns Castle) is two shots clear of the field at the halfway stage of the £59,000 Carnegie Invitational at the Skibo Castle golf course. 
He shot a four-under-par 67 to lead from joint second Greig Hutcheon (PLGC Inchmarlo) and Neil Fenwick (Dunbar).
Forsyth made his score with a bogey-free outward half of 31, studded with birdies at the first, fourth, fifth and eighth
He gave back two of these gaines with bogeys at the 11th and 13th but got back in the groove with a birdie-birdie finish.
Hutcheon had four birdies but two bogeys in halves of 34-35 whil Fenwick had five birdies offset by three bogeys, also in halves of 34-35.
