Stenson moves up to No. 4 in world

The Olympic outcome led to a slight shuffle near the top of the Official World Golf Ranking.
Sweden's Henrik Stenson wasn't able to catch Justin Rose during the final round in Rio, but his silver medal was still enough to push him past an idle Rory McIlroy to No. 4 in the world. For Stenson, it's his highest ranking since May 2015, while McIlroy drops to No. 5 - his lowest ranking since he was No. 8 entering The Open in 2014.
Rose's gold medal moved him back into the top 10 at No. 9, past fellow Englishman Danny Willett. Bronze medalist Matt Kuchar jumped five spots to No. 15.
Other notable moves in the rankings included Ryan Moore jumping nine spots to No. 50 following his win at the John Deere Classic, while Thomas Pieters rose three spots to No. 61 after finishing one spot off the podium in Brazil.
The top three in the world remain the same after Jason Day, Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth all opted out of the Olympics. They're now followed by Stenson, McIlroy, Bubba Watson, Adam Scott, Rickie Fowler, Rose and Willett.
Now out of action for a full year while recovering from multiple back surgeries, Tiger Woods fell 14 more spots to No. 672.
