U.S. Senior Open suspended until Monday

due to course conditions

The final round of the U.S. Senior Open was postponed until Monday.
The final round of the U.S. Senior Open has been suspended until Monday, the USGA announced Sunday.
The U.S. Senior Open was delayed for much of the day due to intense rainfall at Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio. Originally the USGA said play would resume at 3:30 p.m. EDT. However, about an hour before play was set to resume, the association announced that no golf would be played after reviewing the course conditions.
Miguel Angel Jimenez leads the Senior Open at 3 under, one shot ahead of Gene Sauers.
The USGA has not announced what time play will resume Monday, or whether players will go off on two tees.
