Matthew Clark wins Tennant Cup shoot-out 

with Jordan Shaw

Kilmacolm banker Matthew Clark (pictured) was at his Sunday best with three eagles and five birdies over the final 36 holes at Glasgow Golf Club's Killermont course to win the prestigious Tennant Cup with a four-under-par total of 278.

In a last-day shoot-out with Highland challenger Jordan
  Shaw from Boat of Garten, Clark's third and fourth rounds of 66 and 68 were six under par for the day and , while Shaw had scores of 68 and 69 to finish one behind with a 279 total.
Euan McIntosh (Turnhouse) finished third on 282 with closing rounds of 69 and 68.
Alasdair McDougall (Elderslie) bidding for a notable hat-trick after Tennant Cup victories in 2014 and 2015 finished tied 16th on 290, a third-round 76 killing his lingering hopes.
