Scots beaten by Dutch, finish 3rd in U16 table

Scotland, well beaten 9.5-2.5 by Netherlands in their final match,
finished third with 2pt in the Under-16 boys' quadrangular golf international at Hilton Templepatrick Golf Club, Northern Ireland today.
The writing was on the wall for the Scots when they lost the foursomes 3.5 to 0.5. 
The Dutch lads clinched the title with three wins out of three by taking the final set of singles 6-2.
The only Scottish winners on the final day were Lewis Irvine and Cameron Dunn.
Ireland beat Wales 7.5 to 4.5 in the other Day 3 match.
