Ross Cameron earns 1,213 euros for T5 finish 

behind winner Ben Parker in Morocco

Ellon's Ross Cameron, the first-round leader with a 66, finished tied fifth after adding two one-over-par rounds of 72 for a 54-hole final total of three-under 210 in the Open Royal Golf Anfa at Mohammedia Royal Golf Club, Morocco today (Saturday).
Cameron, who is sponsored by Saltire Energy, had a double bogey 6 with "bunker issues" at the 12th in his final round but finished on a high with birdies at the 13th and 14th to make joint fifth place and collect 1,213 euros.
Winner by one stroke was Englishman Ben Parker with scores of 69, 71 and 66 for seven-under 206 to win the first prize of 5,000 euros.
Chris Robb (Meldrum House), the only other Scot apart from Cameron, to qualify for the final round, finished tied 36th on 219 with rounds of 70, 74 and 75. He earned 307 euros.
After birdieing the seventh and ninth, Robb had a poor finish with bogeys at the 11th, 12th, 15th and 16th.
