Allan leading Scot in Southland Conference 

Championship in Texas

Lawrence Allan, pictured, from Alva, a final-year student at Southeastern Louisiana University, heads the three Scots in the field for the Southland Conference Championship college tournament, currently ongoing at Stonebridge Ranch Country Club, McKinney in Texas.
Allan has had rounds of 72 and 73 for a 36-hole tally of 145 and tied sixth place in a field of 55 over a longish course of 7,219yd (par 72).
Duncan McNeill from Annan, a freshman at McNeese State University, is T13 on 148 (76-72) with birdies at the third, sixth and seventh in his second round.
Eamon Bradley from Mt Ellen, a team-mate of Allan, is T24 with rounds of 78 and 74 for 152.
Martin Eriksson (McNeese State) leaves by four shots with a tally of 139 (70-69).
McNeese State (579) also have a clear lead in the team event, ahead of SE Louisiana (590) and Sam Houston State (592) in a field of 11 teams.
