Westwood to play in Czech Masters in August

Former World No. 1 Lee Westwood will headline a strong field when the third edition of the D+D Real Czech Masters returns to Albatross Golf Resort from August 18-21
The 23-time European Tour winner will be joined by his 2014 Ryder Cup team-mate Jamie Donaldson, who won the inaugural edition two years ago to seal his place in the European team for Gleneagles.
Petr Dědek, the owner of promoter RELMOST, said: “The tournament has developed rapidly over the three years. The positive evaluation received from the European Tour and growing interest of spectators and business partners contribute to this. This year’s starting line-up will therefore be stronger than ever before in the Czech Republic.”
The tournament has also received significant commercial boosts after Raiffeisenbank signed a three-year contract to be an official partner, ŠKODA AUTO became the new official car partner and Plzeňský Prazdroj, the brewers of Pilsner, signed a long-term sponsorship deal.
