Scotland lying fifth behind leaders Ireland 

after first round of men's Nations Cup

The first round of the men's Nations Cup tournament in Spain was belatedly completed this morning at Sotogrande when the 12 players who failed to finish their rounds because play was halted when it got dark last night returned this morning to finish their rounds.
They will be out on their second rounds by now - time of writing  1pm UK time.
At the end of the first round, Ireland's Alex Glesson, Stuart Grehan, Jack Hume and Dermot McElroy are leading with a best three from aggregate of 218.
 Scotland's Ewen Ferguson, Grant Forrest, Jack McDonald and Bob MacIntyre are lying fifth on 225.

 Left-handed Scottish champion Bob MacIntyre led the individual field with a two-under 70 at the end of the first round.
