John Duff leads Alliance Scratch Order of 

Merit by 418pt from Kevin Duncan

No change in the top four positions in the North-east Alliance tb
Order of Merit Scratch table after Wednesday's fixture at Buckpool.
In horse racing parlance, the field are coming round Tattenham Corner and into the home straight of the three Merit tables, each sponsored with 1-2-3 prizes by Brimmond Bistro, the public restaurant in the Craibstone GC clubhouse being awarded at the conclusion of the second round of the Alliance championship at Craibstone on  Wednesday, March 16.
Professionals John Duff (Newmachar) and Kevin Duncan (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) are clear leaders in the Scratch table with John on 6553pt and Kevin 6138.
Craig Lawrie has moved up into fifth place.
In the Handicap Class 1 table, Scott Mackie (Kemnay) has leapfrogged from third to first with 2435pt, deposing former No 1 David Leslie (Bon Accord) (2297) and Gavin Chalmers (Alford), down from second to third place.
In Class 2 there is no change in the top 1-2-3 with Stephen Ross (Hazlehead) leading by more than 1,000pt from Raymond Brown (Kemnay) and Jim Stewart Banchory in third place.
