NORTH-EAST ALLIANCE RESULTS FROM BUCKPOOL GOLF CLUB

CRAIG LAWRIE WINS WITH 3 UNDER 67

Craig Lawrie (PLGC) has won today's North East Alliance fixture at Buckpool with an excellent 3 under 67 - in stormy conditions. He headed a field of 81 players by two clear shots from Brimmond Bistro North East Alliance Order of Merit leader Kevin Duncan (PLGC) who continued his good form with another under par round. 

Craig Lawrie is pictured on the right. One shot further back saw Paul Lawrie (Carnegie Club) and John Duff (Newmachar) with even par rounds of 70 - and Sam Kiloh (PLGC), Laura Murray (PLGC) and Ross Cameron (Saltire Energy) completed our Top 5 (including ties) with rounds of 71 (+1). 

Craig's only bogey came at the par 3 13th, but he managed birdies at the 3rd, 7th, 16th and 17th to make his 3 under total. Full scorecards of this weeks top 5 players can be found below all gross scores.

Class 1 Handicap (0-9)
This week's winner in the class 1 handicap section was David Leslie (Bon Accord) with a nett 69 (1 under) - he won by two clear shots from a group at nett 71 including: M Forster (Cruden Bay), D Fleming (Portlethen), R O'Donnell (Oldmeldrum)  P Morrison (Portlethen). 

Class 2 Handicap (10+)
Banchory's Jim Stewart won this week's class 2 section - continuing his good season - also with a nett score of 69. Stewart won by two clear shots from David Bisset (Banchory).
