Pro Clarke wins by two at Boat of Garten

 Professional Rodger Clarke, a member of Moray Golf Club, Lossiemouth, won Saturday's North Scottish Golfers' Alliance fixture at Boat of Garten by two shots with a one-under-par 69.

He recorded birdies at the sixth, 13th and last with dropped shots at the first and 11th.

Scoring was on the whole high with the early starters having to contend with rain and wind. The rain went off before lunchtime, but the wind did not drop until mid-afternoon.
Kyle Godsman (Moray), Jeff Wright (Forres) and professional Alan Duncan (Elgin) were joint runners-up on 71 in a field of 80 competitors.
Hannah McCook (Grantown on Spey) tied for sixth place with a 73.
