Hume third, Haggs Castle sixth with a round to go in Cyprus


Barry Hume is lying third and his club, Scottish champions Haggs Castle, sixth after two rounds of the 54-hole European Club Team Championship at Minthis Hills Golf Club, Cyprus.
Hume has had rounds of 72 and 67 for five-under-par 139, four shots behind the individual leader Ilan Saulo (Finland) (67-68) and one behind second-placed Frederic Lacroix (France) (66-72).
Haggs Castle's other team members, Paul Gault and Craig Morrison have scored 72-74 and 73-75 respectively for 146 and 150.
France's Racing Club de Paris lead the team event with a 36-hole tally of 279.
Spain's RCG Castiello are lying second on 282.
Haggs Castle are sixth on 285.
