McKendrick, Brown tie in Midland Alliance at Forfar

For the second week in a row,  Dunkeld and Birnam scratch amateur Stuart McKendrick has tied for first scratch prize in the Midland Golfers Alliance. 

In the PowaKaddy Centre Team competition at Forfar

McKendrick and Montrose Links assistant Graeme Brown tied on level par 69. They finished a stroke ahead of David Watt, a pro at St Andrews Links Golf Academy.

Murrayshall 13-handicapper Jim Meddicks also had back-to-back success in the handicap competition. His net score of 67 also helped his Murrayshall memberfs' team of Alistair Duncan  (4) and Davie Hutchison (8) to first place in the team event.
