Paisley pro earns £1,600 for 7th place finish
Paisley Golf Club professional Andrew Carlton and his two-handicap amateur club member Davide Walker finished seventh in the Lombard Trophy Grand Final over the Centenary Course at Gleneagles today.
They shot rounds of 68 and 74 for 142 - 12 shots behind the winners from Channels Golf Club, pro Jason Levermore, who earned £12,000, and amateur Ben Steed. They had two rounds of 65 for 14-under-par 130.
Carlton earned £1,600.
Second=best Scots were Crow Wood's Ian Graham and amateur Craig Taylor who plays off three. They had scores of 71 and 74. Graham earned £1,150.
Tom Eckford and 20-handicap amateur David Stewart of Ranfurly Castle finished 14th on 151 with scores of 80 and 71. Eckford earned £800.
