Lloyd Saltman unlikely to get past Stage 1 of Q School at Roxburghe

The hopes of Lloyd Saltman, one of the most talented amateurs Scotland has ever produced, winning his way through to the European Tour look to be over for yet another year.
The Archerfield man is lying joint 69th in a field of 82 players at the Tour School Stage 1 72-hole tournament at the Roxburgh Hotel course, Kelso.
Saltman has shot rounds of 75 and 78 for 153 - nine over par.
Only the leading 18 and ties at the conclusion of 72 holes will advance to Stage 2 at four Spanish venues in October.
Mark Hillson is the best placed Scot at halfway with rounds of 69 and 68 for seven-under 137, two shots behind the Welsh leader Rhys Enoch (68-67).
Neil Fenwick (Dunbar) is lying joint fifth on 139 (68-71)
