Scottish Seniors Golf Society Autumn Meeting

Patterson and Robson tie  at Nairn Dunbar

Tony Patterson (Sunningdale) and Nick Robson (Meldrum House) tied for first place in the Scottish Seniors Golf Society's Autumn Meeting at Nairn Dunbar today with 36-hole aggregates of 148. 

First-round leader Patterson added a 77 to his opening round of  one-under 71 while Robson (pictured) followed his 72 with a  76 in the tricky conditions.

Grant McNab (Lundin) produced an excellent score of 70, the best of the event, for 149, to get to within one shot of the winning total
Title-holder Ronnie Clark (Erskine) finished fourth with a 76 for 150

Former senior international Brian Grieve (King James VI) performed strongly at the age of 70 to finish joint sixth on 153 and  had the consolation of winning the handicap section by three strokes with an aggregate score of 143.

Nairn Dunbar presented an excellent test for the high quality field with a CSS of 74 for the first round and 75 for the second round  for the par 72 course.
