 Lomas scores first win of season at Dunblane 

New pro-am with an eventful five-under 64

Jonathan Lomas (Caprington) scored his first Tartan Tour win of the season with an eventful round of five-under-par 64 at the Dunblane New Golf Club pro-am today.
But the best shots of the day came from two amateurs, David Lind and Ron Stewart.
David had a hole in one at the seventh hole and was rewarded with a new set of irons.
Ron had his ace at the third and his prize is a free trip to Portugal.
Lomas had an eagle 3 at the par-5 sixth and birdies at the second, fifth, ninth, 11th, 13th, 17th and 18th in halves of 31 (four under par) and 33 (one under).
He also had a double bogey 6 at the 10th and bogeys at the third and 16th. His prize was a cheque for £1,000.
Lomas won by only one shot from joint runners-up Greg McBain (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) and David Orr (Eastwood). Both were out in 32 and home in 33, McBain with five birdies and one bogey; Orr with a four-birdie bogey-free card.
Steve Rettie (unattached) led the amateur trio of Andrew Rettie (handicap 19(m Scott Aikman (12) and Jim Paice (13) to victory in the pro-am team event with a net score of 14-under-par 55.
