Gavin makes hay while sun shines at Turriff

Gavin Hay (Nairn Dunbar) returned to form in today's Turriff pro-am with a seven-under-par 63 to finished two shots clear of the field which included Paul Lawrie
Hay had two shots to spare over five players who hit the 65 mark - Scott Henderson (Kings Links) 33-32, Greig Hutcheon (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) 31-34, Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills) 32-33, Chris Kelly (unatt) 33-32 and Paul Lawrie (Carnegie Club) 34-31
Gavin certainly made hay while the sun shone at Turriff. He had a bag of nine birdies - at the third, fifth, sixth, eighth, 111th, 12th, 14th, 16th and 18th with two bogeys, at the 10th and 15th in halves of 32 (four under) and 31 (three under)
