John  Henry ties for eighth place in Alps Tour four-rounder in France

John Henry (Clydebank and District) tied for eighth place in the Alps Tour's 72-hole tournament, the Open International de la Mirabelle d'Or at Golf de La Grange aux Ormes in France today (Sunday)
In a low scoring tournament, Henry earned 1,206 euros with rounds of 68, 68, 70 and 70 for eight-under-par 276 - seven behind the winner of the 6,525 euros first prize, Harry Casey from England.
Casey shot 67, 65, 69 and 68 for 269  to win by one shot from Damien Perrier
(France).
Scots John Gallagher (73-70 for 143), Scott Stewart-Cation (75-69 for 144) and James White (75-71 for 146) missed the cut which fell on 140.
