Nairn's Sandy Scott enters the final round of the 72-hole Peter McEvoy Trophy boys' tournament in joint fourth place at Copt Heath Golf Club, Solihull.
Scott, the leading player from North of the Border at halfway and again after the third round, has had scores of 74, 69 and 71 for a tally of one-over-par 214 over the par-71 lay-out.
He is eight shots behind the long-time leader, Marco Penge (Goodwood) who is on seven-under 206 with scores of 75 81 and 70 for a two-stroke lead over Ireland's Thomas Mulligan and by from third-placed former champion, Bradley Moore (Kedleston Park).
