McLeary, Stewart tie for 3rd place on Algarve

Jamie McLeary and Duncan Stewart tied for third place on one-under 143 in the Algarve Pro Tour 36-hole event which ended today at Quinta do Vale Golf Club, Tavira near the Spanish birder.
Both men had double bogeys in their closing rounds. McLeary shot 70-73 and Stewart 68-75.
They earned £800 apiece for finishing eight shots behind the winner of the £2,000 first prize, Belgian Hugues Joannes (67-68 for nine-under 135). 
Second was Irishman Ruaidhri McGee (Ireland) with scores of 70 and 67 for 137, collecting a cheque for £1,250.
The third and fourth Scots in the field, Jay Taylor and Jordan McColl finished T6 and T9 respectively in a field of 40 players.
Taylor shot 73-71 for 144 and earned £400. McColl scored 74-71 for 145 and earned £225.
