HAMISH McNAUGHTON WINS WLM 

GOLF CLASS 2 H/CAP ORDER OF MERIT

Hamish McNaughton (Cruden Bay), the long-time leader in the WLM Golf-sponsored Class 2 of the Handicap Order of Merit at the North-east Alliance, topped the final table by 175pt, writes Colin Farquharson.

None of the leading Class 2 players scored points in the final counting fixture, the second round of the championship at Craibstone Golf Club on Wednesday.
The pressure was on second-placed Ben Lumsden (Northern) to mount a last-day challenge but it was not to be. 
Thanks to self-employed teaching pro Willie McKenzie for his company WLM Golf's sponsorship of both Classes in the Handicap Order of Merit.

Willie could not be at Craibstone on Wednesday to present the £50 amateur voucher to Hamish so Craibstone Golf Club General Manager Billy Sim did the honours on his behalf. Hamish is on the left and Billy on the right on the above picture.
